Night 1 was a success if I may say so myself. My wife on the other hand may think differently. For the first time since he’s been born, besides all the necessary duties of being a parent has to bring, I’m seeing honest motherly feelings from my wife towards my son for the first time. Feelings that run deeper then anyone else looking in can see. Feelings that only a mother can have for their child. Feelings that run deeper then I’ll ever fully understand. I’ll be checking on the little guy myself tonight as I give mommy a rest from hearing her little guy cry every now and then without being able to comfort him. It sucks, I know, but I really did see a difference in him all day today. Even last night I saw a different child. Let’s hope this all continues for the best. Already he’s been down and out since 9. Something he never did before. All while sleeping in a crib! Have I mentioned before he hated sleeping in his crib and would always wake up when we tried to put him in it?
